On all the sites I visited they were top ranked generators. They have a large selection of kinds also.
Honda, Yamaha, Craftsman, Troy-Bilt, and Briggs & Stratton are some of the top brands for residential backup generators. Both Honda and Briggs & Stratton scored well with Consumer Reports.
During a power outage, homeowners do not have to get stranded in the dark. A Briggs & Stratton generator can offer sufficient electricity to power the most essential appliances, fixtures, and items inside a home. The most affordable options are portable generators, which are easy to move along the rolling wheels. Briggs & Stratton offer portable generators ranging from 3,500 Watts up to 10,000 Watts. Multiple 120 V outlets and power surge optimization and protection technology are standard features that will benefit homeowners during power outages. Since the generators run on gasoline, safety is a major concern and therefore users need to be aware of carbon monoxide poisoning. This means that portable generators must always be placed in well ventilated locations.
Briggs & Stratton 30242 6,200-Watt 11 HP Portable Generator. It works really well and I highly recommend it as I have been using one for years. hope this helps
There are many companies that produce home generators. Some of the brand names that you might want to consider are Briggs and Stratton, GE, Kohler as well as Generac. I have found that these are available at stores such as Home Depot, as well as online at Amazon.
No. They use Briggs and Stratton as well.
I use straight 30 weight in all my briggs engines. It works well in most all temp ranges
Originally from when Briggs & Stratton started business in 1919, the engine's were built in Milwaukee Wisconsin to 1985 and well into the 1990's. Recently great production is very little from were Briggs & Stratton was originally started. These day's there is great activity of Briggs & Stratton parts from China/Japan and Briggs & Stratton engine blocks being casted in Mexico. Truley a great devistation to a once GREAT engine. Which is why alot of people like myself will no longer recommend a Briggs & Stratton engine. Today your best bet is Kohler (still U.S. produced), Kawasaki or Honda.
Wix 57035. If there is room, a taller filter is 51348. Briggs number 492932 is the same as well.
10w30 0r 10w40 both seem to work well.
Murray string trimmers are manufactured by the Briggs & Stratton Corporation, a well-known company in the outdoor power equipment industry. Briggs & Stratton produces a range of lawn and garden equipment, including mowers and trimmers, under the Murray brand. The company has a long history of providing reliable outdoor tools for homeowners and professionals alike.
If it is a 3.5 hp I usually use a j-8 or equivalent seems to work well in them. hope this helps
u use olive oil What, too good for Canola? Nothing beats SAE 30 straight weight. Detergent is OK. Briggs & Stratton 5w-30 synthetic is the best, but pricey. Try not to use regular 5w-30 or 10w30, they can't handle high temps as well. That will void your warranty. Change every 50 hours.
