Bunsen Burners are dangerous because someone in our school leant in on a Bunsen burner and she burnt off her fringe! It then went to the rest of her hair. So her eye has swelled up and she had to have the skin taken off the side of her face (cuz it was that bad) and it had to be replaced fro skin from her arm. She ALMOST had to have plastic surgery!
NEVER USE BUNSEN BURNERS AND IF U DO, KEEP SAFE KIDS!!!! ;)
It depends in what context you are using one. If you are doing careful experiments, taking all precautions, then they are perfectly safe. However, if the flame comes into contact with anything flammable, anything that can be damaged by heat, or any certain types of gas, then the result of this can be harmful.

Three types of laboratory burners are the Tirrill Burner, Bunsen Burner, and the Meker Burner. The Tirrill and Meker Burner have air and gas adjustments while the Bunsen Burner has only an air adjustment. Hope that helps.
no Bunsen burners are made from metal so are not flammable and have high melting points
not all bunsen burners have plastic grips some have metal its probably just the make
A small fire. Remember, people didn't need Bunsen burners until they needed a constant source of heat. By the time that science required such a thing, manufacturing had advanced to the point where Bunsen burners were easy to create.
Bunsen Burner Bunsen burners are typically used to heat beakers of liquid in order to induce chemical reactions. Bunsen burners also pose disadvantages: They cannot control the temperature as accurately as electronic heaters and using an open flame can be dangerous.
as far as i know, its a beaker... sadly my school thinks bunsen burners are too dangerous so i don't know for sure
Bunsen burners

Bunsen burners are the common ones but we use others too like meths burners which are portable and don't need a gas tap.
