50 percent dependable due to numerous issues they have including but not limited to
intake manifold failure, electrical problems, heating and ac,haphazard overheating and
lights failures i.e headlights, brake lights, signals, reverse lights etc.
True...I'm still driving my 2002 venture ls with 144,000 miles, so I'd have to say so far the most dependable van I've had. It started having a few issues around the 100,000 mark, intake manifold, thermostat, belt tensioner, abs sensors, and oxygen sensors, and ac condenser going out were big ones. We have been through a few brake jobs, and a couple rounds of tires, as well. The only real problem I have with any of those repairs is that they are very labor intensive(and therefore costly to have someone else do). As of two days ago, the power window motor for the driver's side door seems to have gone out(I replaced the switch already...so that's an expense I'll need to deal with. Overall, I can say this van has never stranded me..yet.
Yes.

Yes they do.
In general Chevy brand vans are not the best for converting to passenger vans. However, the Chevy Express Passenger Van LS1500, LS2500, and LS3500 are all good vans for converting to handicapped models.
No. Astros have shocks all around.
