ANSWER
There are only two differences between RNA and DNA and that is the substitution of Thymine (in DNA) with Uracil (in RNA). Although DNA is mostly double stranded and RNA mostly single stranded, there are BOTH single stranded DNA and double stranded RNA amongst the viruses. It is one of the major levels used to classify viruses.
The other difference is, in DNA 2-deoxy-D-ribose is used in the spine while in RNA just plain D-ribose is used.
RNA is similar to DNA. There are a couple differences though. One is that RNA is single stranded and DNA is double stranded.
DNA and RNA are both nucleic acids, and they both use the bases adenine, guanine, and cytosine. (DNA also has thymine while RNA has uracil)
The major difference between these two is that DNA is basically the master code for the proteins and other workings of the body, and the RNA are basically the copies so that the DNA is not cut up every time something needs to be made. (Bacteria cells on the other hand only use RNA)
Although DNA and RNA are both nucleic acids, the presence of sugar in their molecules differ. This difference causes them to react differently.
Both are nucleic acids, and both contain information that is passed on in reproduction.
RNA and DNA is a good organelle to compare with.
Deoxy-ribonucleic acid (DNA) and ribonucleic acid (RNA)
Nucleotides do not have DNA or RNA. DNA and RNA are composed of nucleotides.
well, oxygen atoms have only 2.
Because RNA is the replication of DNA.

DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) is the blueprint or design of every organism, except a virus. It is usually found in the center of the plant or animal cell, called the nucleus. RNA (ribonucleic acid) is the opposite of DNA, but it is typically found in viruses. That is the big compare and contrast between DNA and RNA.

The enzyme that transcribes the DNA into RNA is called RNA polymerase.
RNA can move and DNA cant. DNA has a double helix strand and RNA is a single strand.
An uracil base is in RNA but not in DNA
Yes, DNA and RNA have different sugar . DNA contains deoxyribose sugar whereas RNA consists of ribose sugar, which are completely different from each other.
DNA and RNA. Viruses that use RNA often have to have enzymes that convert the RNA to DNA.
Thymine is found in DNA but not in RNA. Uracil replaces thymine in RNA. In other words: DNA has thymine. RNA has uracil.
Because RNA is the replication of DNA.
