ABSOLUTLY!!! they might bite you if you try to pick them right out of the cage so make sure there are in their little house and take that out. but once you are holding them, they wont bite. they are VERY sweet. (if they do bite you anytime, it doesn't hurt at all, it just feels like a little pintch.)

∙ 13y agoA Dwarf Hotot is a good breed to consider. They are a compact, stocky, and docile breed, and generally take to being cuddled and handled quite nicely; they have thick fluffy fur, but it's not so long as to take a lot of serious grooming; and being a smaller breed rabbit, require a smaller area for housing and play than some other types might.

I suggest something from a hamster to a dog... It depends on the kid and what pet you would want in your house. I think a hamster because they are a good size for kids (You may want to watch your kids when they hold it... they jump) but not a dwarf hamster.. Teddy bear hamsters are great pets. Guinea pigs and rabbits are also great if you want something smaller than a dog
