Generally No. the more you look into it the further from any definition of white you get. White to be fair is a really poor grouping term that just causes problems. There are many very different people in Europe even if we were to go off colour alone who dont check the box for white. The only scientific conection to white would be caucasian which they are Not. There are also multiple ethnicities in Hungary that speak Hungarian and are assimilated into the culture but are otherwise considered white like Germanic or slovaks. But the largest demographic being the Magyars are not white. The issue here essentially that Hungary doesn’t Fit in the boxes the west Make for it and after a thousand or so years of having An identity yet still intermixing its become very complicated. Generally Hungarians understand that they have nomad roots and are different to their European neighbors.

It depends. I've been studying that question a lot, and I've decided that they are NOT Caucasian because their ancestors do not go back to the same region as "Caucasians". At least as far as racial defining goes. They are Nord-Mongolian, for they came from North Russia in the late middle ages to present-day Hungary. They are, however, unarguably white.
