Tropical fish must be mixed with other fish that are well adapted to the same community as the tropical fish are. These would be fish that are non-aggressive, and like basically the same foods, water temperatures, plants and environment.
maybe you can put a non-aggressive fish that if physically provoked by the fighting fish it can defend itself. or fast moving fish like goldfish so it can outrun the fighting fish. when feeding your fishes they usually move quick, putting their mouths above water. however, the betta doesn't. and they can get easily annoyed when other fish bump them. so,I recommend the angelfish.
If you are talking about reproduction then that would depend upon the genetics of the breeding pair. A none crowned fish (male or female) may carry crowned genes and throw some crowned young.
These are tropical fish that like their water warm. Betta are best kept at 26 to 28 degrees Celsius.
Yes, betta fish are known to be aggressive towards other fish in a community tank, especially towards fish with similar colors or long fins. It is recommended to keep bettas in a tank by themselves or with non-aggressive tank mates.
