* No, they aren't. Many people are confused by the story of Jon and Kate, and their family. Jodi asked TLC if she could do her own show. TLC didn't need another show so they kindly responded, "No, thanks." Then Jodi wanted Kate to talk TLC into making a show for her and her family. Kate knew she could get her show canceled for asking that, so she told Jodi she wouldn't ask TLC. Jodi then banned her family from ever coming into contact with the Gosselins again.
