The Kiowa's (Kaui-gu) traditional homelands were on the southern Great Plains, just about in the exact centre of the modern USA. There have never been any species of whales that can exist in 1,000,000 square miles of grassland; nor did the Kiowas traditionally build canoes or other boats. They were nomadic buffalo hunters just like all the other Plains tribes, having no access to the sea. The idea that Kiowas hunted whales is the product of a disordered mind, like saying that Kansas is on the coast.
The Kiowa people lived in and around the Texas Panhandle. The Comanches and the Kiowas were good friends. when the Kiowas came, they made friends with the Comanches and the Comanches let them live on their land.
