No there not.
The Nintendo 64 was named for its 64 bit CPU. In comparison the SNES was 16 bit and the NES was 8 bit. It is not the 3rd Nintendo game console, NES, SNES, Virtualboy, and Gameboy came out before it.
The project 64 is a Nintendo 64 emulator that lets you play Nintendo 64 games that you download from websites.
No, it will not be, because it will use cartridges rather than discs. However, there is hope that there will be digital content available through the console, so that we can still play older games. You won't be able to play Wii or Wii U games directly and it's still not confirmed if certain games will have backwards compatibility if bought digitally.
no
No the game cartridges are different shapes. Nor does the N64 OS support SNes games.
Super Smash Bros. first came out on the Nintendo 64, so it wasn't on the NES.
They did not made a N65. What the made next was a NGC (Nintendo Gamecube) and to the NDS, NDS Lite, Wii, NDSi. Before the 64 they had SNES ( Super Nintendo Entertainment System) and the first Nintendo was NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) Note. N64 is not the 64th Nintendo. NES > SNES > N64 > NGC > Wii
You can only play wii games, and game cube games on a wii, unless you have the wii shop channel or the hombrew channel, then you can play others like nes, snes, Nintendo 64, Nintendo ds, ect.
The Nintendo 64 does not play Super Nintendo games as they have different cartridge types.
Depends what you mean by 'cord' - if you mean the power supply or controllers, then very definitely no. The Audio/Video hookups, however, are backwards-compatible with the Super NES, and also FORWARD-compatible with the Nintendo GameCube.
The PSP cannnot play Nintendo 64 games.
To play NES games on the Nintendo 64 you need a device called the TriStar 64. It allows you to play NES, SNES and N64 games on your Nintendo 64. It's a bit rare and pricey but you might find it on Amazon and/or eBay. If you do get the TriStar 64, you can get one of those nes cartridges with an SD card slot, load up all your nes roms, and play all your nes games on your N64. Works the same for SNES and N64 cartridges with SD slots.
