I have both epilepsy and a type of autism called Asperger's Syndrome. For the epilepsy I take the 500mg depakote. I also take the 1mg risperdal pill for controlling my attitude and help prevent anxiety. Taking both together gives me no problems with them interacting together. Another medication I'm on for anxiety is the 20mg pill Lexapro and it has no interactions with the other 2. To be sure that your medications are safe together though, make sure that all your doctors know what drugs you are on, and ask them about possible side effects.
Yes if you are not allergic to either medicine than they are safe to take as prescribed together.

Yes Ritalin and Prozac (fluoxetine) work in very different ways and are able to be taken together, I take both of them to help with both ADHD and depression and there are no side effects from taking them both simultaniously.
Prozac and tea/coffee is perfectly fine
No, there should be no harm in this. Whenever you are not sure if another medication will be tolerated with Prozac then phone your pharmacist and they will be happy to give you the correct information. Any drug store MUST give you this information. It's better to be safe than sorry.
yes
I went to the doctor today and she prescribed me prednisone for my severe eczema and since I am currently on Prozac I asked her if it was safe to take both at once and she said yes. But you should check with your own Dr. to be on the safe side.
No, your going to kill your kid you idiot....

Neither Prozac nor Strattera are uppers or downers. Prozac works on serotonin, and Strattera works on norepinephrine, two of our brain cocktails. Both drugs level out their respective neurotransmitters; nothing is added or removed, just made to work more efficiently. Prozac may inhibit some of the activity by Strattera; as for being safe, however, this is for a doctor to decide and monitor. Each case is different.
There are no known drug to drug interactions between these two medications, making them safe to take together. Make sure to contact you primary care provider prior to taking these two medications to ensure that it is safe.
