No, they do not. No they don't because it wasn't there style.
all sorts of armor! steel swords, cannons, and guns were some of the weapons though.
No, the Mayans were a different and earlier people than the Aztecs, though they were to have a major influence on Astec culture
Central American native tribes helped Cortez against the Aztecs due to two reasons: 1. Hatred towards the Aztecs that arose due to Aztec expanding influence and territory, wars, conflicts and those kind of things. 2. A hope they will receive something in return, be it power, riches, control, etc... However, even though they helped Cortez, the only thing they received in return was the same fate the Aztecs faced.
The Aztecs have invented chocolate out of cocoa beans, discovered how to make chewing gum out of tree sap, and they introduced popcorn to the world, though they did not discover it. They were the first to have mandatory education and invented the Aztec calendar.
The Aztecs thought that the Spanish were gods so they worshiped them and did whatever they could to please them, at first. But the Aztec ruler, Montezuma, had his doubts about them. Soon after they arrived, the Aztecs discovered that the Spanish were as mortal as their other enemies, and fought against them. They captured some Spaniards, and sacrificed or even ate them. The Spanish won out because of their superior armament, and because the diseases they brought with them soon killed many of the Aztecs.
Cortez killed some of the Aztecs - most of the died from the diseases that his soldiers brought with them from Europe and to which the Aztecs had no immunity. They are not extinct though. Their decedents are the modern day Mexicans, which is ironically the name they called themselves. The term Aztec was coined by an American to distinguish the old generation from the new when writing his book.
the mayans were called the mayans, the aztecs were called the aztecs and the incans were called the incans. they also started at different times but ended though Spanish conquest around the same time.that is why they are sometimes linked ;)
Aztecs and Mayans some of them still are here today though.
to put it simply, they were and are only pets. they made a difference being used in religious ceremonies, though.
When Hernando Cortes explored what is now Mexico, he made an alliance with the Tlaxcallans. They massacred much of Tenochtitlan and killed Montezuma. The Spanish basically had control of the Aztecs, though installed rulers to "control" the city.
