They are very mean. I had one that bite me so bad I had to get stitches. So I recommend something else because when I got home it bit me again but not as bad, so we had to return the hamster and get another one. The second Russian hamster bite me on the nose and I was bleeding for an hour! So it wasn't the first hamsters personality. It is all those evil buggers!
