The company that I'm referring to is a reseller/installer of Ruud & Rheem (their parent company) heating and cooling equipment and systems. I have the same exact model # behind my house.

The Ruud line of products is now produced and sold by the Rheem company, but they are still in business (with home offices in Atlanta); if you contact the place where you purchased the air conditioner, they would have factory-authorized parts to sell; but I notice online that a number of repair shops and individual dealers also sell Ruud parts. Since I don't know where you live, I would suggest going online and searching for store locations near you; some might have spare parts that you could purchase.
