The term acoustic, albeit not neccessarily accurate, usually implies a guitar with steel strings, whereas classical implies the use of nylon strings.
For playing almost all types of modern music, a guitar with steel strings is preferred.
When we say classical guitar, it usually means guitar with three steel string and three nylon string.
Acoustic guitar has six steel string.
An acoustic guitar with nylon stings.
Nylon strings are lower tension in comparison to steel strings and have a warmer tone than steel string, thus making steel strings higher tension than nylon with a brighter tone than nylon strings.
If by "classic acoustic guitar" you mean the small bodied, slotted-headstock type of guitar commonly called simply a "classical" guitar, the answer is an emphatic NO. Any type of steel strings on a true classical guitar will ruin it. Classical guitars must be strung with nylon or gut strings only.
Well.....the classical guitar strings are thicker....but i dont think it matters. maybe you can. XxLuciferExilexX
The acoustic guitar
A Spanish guitar has a round neck and a Hawaiian guitar has a square neck.A Spanish guitar is meant to be played by picking or strumming while a Hawaian guitar is meant to be on your lap or a table laid flat. A Hawaiian guitar has a high action and is meant to be played with a slide.
The classical guitar is best bacause guitarists are most familiar with it.

There is no such thing as a "guitar". There's an acoustic guitar, electric guitar and classical guitar. They all have different sounds. Acoustics are usually for country music, electrics are usually for rock and classical guitars are specifically made for classic guitar.
