If you refer to the 1977 British 25 Pence (Crown) coin, no. They were only minted from the traditional copper/nickel alloy, and approximately 377,000 Proof coins were struck in sterling silver.There may well be medallions or tokens struck in gold, but not coins.

I have a 20th century vintage brooch with 22ct LND on the back - it is 22ct gold plated so I wonder if your LND relates to the plating, its probably gold plated. Take it to your local jeweller and ask, they won't mind telling you for free.
