The actual 4L80E transmissions are, yes.
The 1997 and 1999 Chevy Cavalier transmissions are exactly the same. The transmissions, transmission linkage, and transmission mounts are identical.
Yes as the holes in the frame are there yet some of the V-6 transmissions will not bolt to the V-8. 2.8 is an example where the transmissions are not the same. Check a Hollander interchange manual for this.
GM manufactured several models of manual transmissions - they weren't all the same - and there'll be quite a substantial difference between a manual which was used in a Silverado and one which was used in a Cavalier. Try again with the transmission model.
Ask the same question at batauto.com in the forum for transmissions. Koug
quite a few manufactures but they all bolt up the same. only difference you may find is some starters for manual transmissions bolt to the bell houseing.
Yes thay are the same.
NO, Not even close to being the same design. In late 1999 Chevy REDESIGNED all the transmissions and engines.
I'm not sure if this pertains to your vehicle, but a lot of manual transmissions don't have dipsticks. ur dipstick is on driverside ate the top of the tranny farley hard to get at but its there i had the same prob.
No, they're the same length
