Unless the advertisement is from a reputable and well-known company (Les Swab, Fountain Tire etc.) I would say it sounds too good to be true. Even when on sale I have not seen wheel and tire packages drop as low as $300 from any of the big companies.
Companies that offer cheap rim and tire packages are Auto Zone and Tire Rack. These two companies beat all competitors in providing cheap rim and tire packages.
Websites such as www.tirerack.com, www.wheelfire.com and www.tirepackage.com all offer fantastic value tire and rim packages for your car. I hope this information helps.
yes, al z71 packages do have 4 wheel drive. They are more suited for offroad driving then a regular 4x4.
Tire rotation can be tricky, usually because tire rotation is dependent on tire and drive type. However, in all wheel drive vehicles, with non directional tires, it is pretty simple. The front passenger wheel is changed out with the back driver side wheel, the front driver side wheel changed out with the rear passenger wheel.
Tires on the same axle should match if all 4 are not the same. The 215s are an inch taller (or thereabouts) than the 205's. the taller ones should go on back if you have 2. However, this does not answer the question raised as to whether a 215 60 16 tire will fit on the same wheel that currently has a 205 55 16 tire ! Hopefully someone knows the answer.
D. All of the above. Homographs are words that are spelled the same but have different meanings, such as "fire" (flames), "fly" (insect), and "tire" (wheel part).
You can increase or decrease tire size, all are safe, as long as they are dot (department of transportation) approved tires. which 99% are. Are you lowering the car? If your wanting to keep the same wheels and have a lower profile tire there are a variety of tires your local tire dealer can give you options on, sport, all season, winter etc. It all depends on what application your wanting to utilize. One key thing to remember on all wheel drive cars is that all tires must be exactly the same in size or it will cause damage to the transfer case which is the major component of the all wheel drive system.
no
it all depends on the type of rim if the rim (or wheel) is spoked it cant take a tubeless tire because the air would leak out at each spoke. whee as if it has a mag wheel (solid one piece wheel) there is no way for the air to escape so there for you can use a tubeless tire. I hope my answer helped you.
ok what your not understanding all wheel drive very different from 4 wd all wheel drive ATV are only a polaris 4wd is everything else all wheel drive mean each tire pulls 4wd means the rear axle is solid and both tire pull together in the back and front have independent pull
There is no space for a spare tire if you have AWD. That is why factory provides the Run Flat Tires.
Tire out of balance, bent wheel, defect in tire, loose wheel bearing, worn suspension parts are common causes. Have the tires removed inspected and balanced. Have all other parts inspected.
