Do NOT feed your dog any kind of apple sauce! It will make him/her throw up constantly! I fed my dog apple sauce, and then she threw up about 3 times that day! But if you have a dog that's pregnant, giving birth, or just gave birth, then you may give your little girl a cup of apple sauce, it will help her throw up all of her extra waste that she doesn't need. But other wise DON'T feed him/her it at all, unless you want to clean up dog throw up.

∙ 14y agoYour dog may eat it but fruit is not the proper food for a dog. They are okay for an occasional treat.
This is a clip I got from a vet site and I hope this helps if you want to try other fruit have a look on line first or ask your local vets...
- Apples (they contain potassium, which stimulates the immune system, and pepsin, which helps the stomach)
- Broccoli (rich in vitamins)
- Carrots (rich in vitamins, great treats to substitute for biscuits)
- Cabbage (rich in vitamins, good for digestive system and skin)
- Cucumber (good for teeth and bones due to potassium content; can combine with carrots to promote a healthy liver and kidneys; in juice form, a good diuretic ... peel cucumbers unless organically grown)
- Celery (chopped or juiced; can help with Arthritis)
- Green beans (lightly steamed; healthy and low-cal treat)
- Kale (rich in antioxidants and can help reduce allergy symptoms)
- Bananas (in small quantity; a coveted treat)
- Olive oil (a tablespoon a day is good for skin and fur)
Fruits to avoid!!
Grapes/raisin: causing kidney failure. There is no set amount that will kill your dog. One can kill a boxer, while 10 pound dog may eat a bag full.
Avocados
Garlic
Onion
Mushrooms
Other foods:
chocolate: dark is worse than milk, bakers is highly toxic. some dogs can be allergic to
chocolate, so even a little bit can be deadly.
Any table food can have lots of salt and unsafe spices.
