No. Additional Info: According to the IUCN Red List, there are only two Barnacle species listed out of what is generally believed to around 900 species living today. They are both listed as data deficient, and listed needing updating. Another reference to Barnacles, with a listing of "endangerment" is nationally. New Zealand has a Barnacle listed as "nationally endangered". It is the Northern Chitinous Barnacle (Chitinolepas spiritsensis). A group working with the Ministry of Fisheries, The National Aquatic Biodiversity Information System, or "NABIS" is currently working with the New Zealand Biodiversity Strategy to map marine information, and this Barnacle is listed, but not with the IUCN Red List. So, Barnacles are being researched, and have not gone unseen. The two listed by IUCN Red List will be reassessed soon, but generally speaking they are not currently considered "endangered", especially considering the number of Barnacle species.
