A Beagle can live in a small home as long as it is exercised daily for a minimum of an hour. (Note: this may vary between individual dogs) Bear in mind that Beagles are also quite vocal, so if you happen to live in an apartment, your dog may disturb your neighbours.

Because they are hunting dogs, have you noticed the white tip on the end of their tail?? That is on every beagle. It is used so that when they are hunting, people can find them easily. I have a pet beagle at home, her name is Ruby, and the time that she ran away, I found her by spotting the tip of her tail in the dark!!
Each dog may make a different type of home for itself depending on if the dog has an owner or if they are a stray. Dogs that have owners tend to have a favorite place to sleep including their human's bed or a dog bed. Stray dogs will find a location that offers some type of shelter where they may sleep and feel somewhat safe.

Any breed of dog can get along with another, but it all depends on the age of them. Male and male don't get along, unless they are both really young and grow up with each other. Females tend to get along with any of the genders, no matter what breed.
obviously when we got home in the week we would walk it and at the weekend, plus while we were at work/school it would have plenty of food and water
