How can a person help a bumble bee if it is dying?

If it's dying there's nothing you can do for the bee. However, if it's exhausted then the following is possible:- Put the bee outside in the sunlight, i.e. a warm place (away from draughts) and feed it some honey. It will either recover and fly away when it feels strong enough, or die. I've rescued many bees over the years using this method.

If you find a bee that has lost a wing and its sting, the best thing to do is to gently place it in a safe location with some sugar water for nourishment. The bee may be in shock and providing a sugar solution can help restore its energy. Avoid handling the bee too much and allow it to rest.

What bee dies after stinging?

Honeybees are the bees that die after stinging. When a honeybee stings, it leaves behind its stinger and part of its abdomen, which ultimately leads to its death. This is a defense mechanism to protect the hive, and the bee sacrifices itself in the process. Other types of bees, like bumblebees, can sting multiple times without dying.
