Yes, I hve been feeding a spider on my porch one or two Japanese beetles a day. It is very satisfying to see the spider kill and eat them!!!
Tick and spider beetles differ in physical characteristics and behavior. Ticks have a flat, oval body with eight legs and feed on blood, while spider beetles have a round body with six legs and feed on plant material. Ticks are known for transmitting diseases, while spider beetles are harmless pests that infest stored food.
Most beetles will eat just about any plant. Many beetles are predatory, generally eating about any insect, spider, orbird that they can fit in their mouth. A few species of beetles eat fungi.

Yes, beetles have wings. For further information, refer to the Wikipedia link, below.
Beetles are insects, which have six legs, a group also including flies and ants. Spiders are arachnids, with eight legs. Other members of that group include scorpions and ticks.
nope. they eat bees, ants, etc. but not beetles. An interesting bit of infoTarantulas will stun a beetle or a wasp and lay eggs on it. The beetle or wasp stays alive but paralyzed and when the eggs hatch they eat the beetle or the wasp.I thought that I'd add a little information to this answer. The user asking the question above did not specify Tarantulas or just any spider in general. There is a spider that primarily eat beetles it's fangs are specially designed to penetrate a beetles shell. I do not know the exact name of this spider. It's found in the western United States. If anyone does know the name of this particular spider please message me at my_life_notyours@live.com.
i think black cane beetles can't fly because there a type of spider and spiders can't fly
Some insects commonly mistaken for ticks due to their appearance include bed bugs, spider beetles, and carpet beetles.
