Yes. They are small, easy to care for, and adorable. For a fish. The only problem is beta fish don't do well with other fish, including betas, unless you have a divider in your tank. I've had two so far, Bubbles (male) and currently Opal (female). If you want a prettier fish get a male. Betas also live about 3-5 years, Bubbles lived around 3 or 4. I highly recommend them, it's so fun to buy stuff and watch them interact and swim around.
a gold fish or a beta fish
your tank was probably not covered. beta fish are very good jumpers.
If the Beta Fish doesn't eat then it means that the Beta Fish is sick. I know this answer because I had a Beta Fish in my class in grade 4.
No. Beta fish need to be feed a special diet because they have a higher protein requirement than other fish.
no, only if your fish is appearing ill.
a beta fish is one.
the Chinese beta fighting fish
YES! They can eat crackers! My Betta fish loves crackers but his favorite foods are tilapia and scrambled eggs.Crackers are not good to feed beta fish. A beta fish can live for a couple of weeks without food.
First thing would be removing the fish that is attacking the Beta's fins. If it is not a fish, the Beta may have a disease such as tail rot-in which case you need to isolate the fish and treat it. But there are supplements that can help with the health of the fish.
beta fish
I suppose it is possible. Beta are very territorial fish.
Beta fish don't get along with other fishes, they will attack any fish that they see as a threat. If you buy a female and a male beta DO NOT put them together.
