Black is a color and not a breed. Appaloosa horses can be black.
No they are not the same breed. The Appaloosa and Quarter horse are two seperate breeds.
a white spot under their lip, in their ear and/or under their tail. some horses are spotted some are not. their disposition is offten very stubborn! look me up: ThoroughbredLover, and i own an appaloosa mare who is regestered but is a chestnut color with not obvious spots!
The same as any other horse. I have an appaloosa and she walks, trots, and canters the same way any other horse would.
There's the Appaloosa and the less well-known Knapstrub that is larger and sportier that the Appaloosa.
The appaloosa breed cannot run fast as the thoroughbred wich can reach up to 40mph. so the appaloosa would run 20-30 mph
Same as all horses. Cougers, etc, etc
the same way all other breeds of horses breathe through their noses..
If you mean the same breed, not always.
You will have a 50% or higher chance for a "painted" foal, depending on which gene(s) the paint horse has. The base color depends on what color the paint horse is and if the black horse carries a red gene. == ==
Usually. The breed in America is usually the American Mustang.
An Appaloosa is a horse standing from 14 -16 hands. They must be spotted or they are BS or no color. All must have molted skin, striped hoofs and white around their eyes. To see about Appaloosas google ApHC.
same as any other horse, about 10 months
