Are bootcamps effective for changing a child's behavior?

Some boot camps can definitely increase your child's behavior. This is not always the best course of action for your child, however. It is tough and might just alienate him from you forever, fear of punishment is not an effective long term behavior modifier. It might be better to send him to camps which focus on positive changes, like team building for example.
