Did cavemen have lots of cavities?

They probably did. Archaeologists have found holes drilled in teeth, early dentistry, from 9000 years ago (the neolithic period), see related link.Today we eat more sugar (bad), but probably have better dental hygiene (good) and have discovered that fluoride strengthens teeth (good). It is not unlikely that people have fewer cavities today than they did in the Stone Age.

How do you get rid of cavities?

If you have a full blown cavity, you will need to have it filled by the dentist. Cavities are caused by the disease called Caries, which is a bacterial disease that EVERYONE has. There is a constant demineralization/remineralization of the tooth from the acid produced by the bacteria and remineralization from ions in your saliva. A diet high in sugar or fermentable carbohydrates (chips, pasta, etc) feeds the bacteria, producing more acid, demineralizing your teeth more, leading to cavities. To help prevent cavities from forming, eat sugar and carbohydrates infrequently, and try to drink water after eating them. Same thing applies for acidic food/beverages. Also, make sure to brush twice a day to get rid of the plaque on your teeth. This is where the bacteria hang out. Be sure to floss once a day, the most common places to find cavities is between teeth because it is the hardest area to clean. Fluoride in drinking water helps keep your teeth strong, as well as fluoride treatments at the dentist- they are NOT just for kids!

Due to small arch (lower arch in ur mouth is smaller than the upper )and to capable the teeth upper and lower to rest on 2 teeth not one ( i mean like upper central incisor will rest on lower central and lower lateral incisor and so on).Formally answer :Due to convergence of lower arch (as lower arch is more convergence than upper arch)

Why are some people's teeth harder than others?

IF this is about why some get more cavities than others, it's usually NOT about their teeth being harder. The main drivers behind getting cavities or not are eating habits - frequent snacking is bad - and body chemistry. The pH of your saliva has a big influence on your mouth health. Acidic saliva - bad for teeth. Alkaline saliva - good for teeth. Brushing and flossing regularly also help teeth health.
