NO ! The cat will view the Chameleon as potential prey - and the Chameleon will see the cat as a possible predator. Either way, the Chameleon will suffer stress - possibly leading to the lizards death !

And if cats get sick vs. a chameleon getting sick , a cat probably wouldn't need special care like a chameleon would because vets would be more used to treating cats than chameleons. They also don't need a special cage-they have the whole house.
