OK if your dog eats chili don't freak out. Now if your dog eats spicy chili take him/her to the vet as fast as you can because it is very toxic to dogs. If your dog as just non-spicy chili that's OK because the least of your worry's is out of the picture all it will have is probably diarrhea. Trust me my dog has gone through it twice.

Yes it is bad for the immune system but also you can take it as advantage if you want your dog to keep away from some stuff by using chilli powder repellent. Capsaicin, the chemical that puts the spice in chili peppers, is irritating to a dog's sensitive nose. Because of this, most dogs will avoid anything that smells like a chili pepper. You can rub or sprinkle cayenne powder and dried chili powder directly on objects and areas where dogs are unwanted. You can also mix it with water for a spray solution that will repel dogs.
They sell foot powders specificaly for that:)
Claiming that chili is bad is simply an opinion. Many people love eating chili, which is apparent in many areas of the United States because of numerous chili cook-off competitions. However chili may be bad for some, because it has beans that can cause gas, spices that may be too hot for some or celery pieces that are overbearing.
