Chloroplasts would only be found in plant cells because they produce chlorophyll which the plant uses to create energy from sunlight.
Animals do not have the ability to create energy from sunlight and therefore do not need or have chloroplasts in their cells

∙ 11y agoChloroplasts contain chlorophyll which is only found in plant cells. chlorophyll is a green pigment which dyes the leaves and stems of plants green which is why animal cells do not have chloroplasts as they are not green and they don't need it as chloroplast are used to convert sunlight to glucose for food.
