Yes, cold temps can be hard on not only Pug's paws, but many other dogs. Also one has to watch out for salt on roads and sidewalks if walking their dog. When I walk my dogs during the winter I run a body temp bath just to wash their feet off. Dogs lick their feet and salt could cause some problems although not life threatening.
the habitat of a pug is not to hot and not to cold and make sure your pug is not near any deep water!
I don't see any reason why you would want to shave you pug. Their hair is short enough and it will get cold. And having a pug I am guessing it will not enjoy the experience
pugs are highly intelligent but have a sturborn streak... so i think its all about how you train them.
Pugs' coats are usually quite thin so they are not designed for running in the snow but it depends on the pug and its length of coat and weight.
A pug is very soft. Their foreheads and paws are to die for! Not only is their fur naturally luscious, but they also have soft skin.

Well what I've noticed was that the Pug-Zu is more furry. Their fur sticks out more and the pugs are slick and slide back. I WANT A PUG SO BADLY!
