It depends. If you do most of your business on the road, I would say laptop. If you do most of your work in one place like either home or in your office, I would say desktop. A lot of times a great desktop is less expensive than an ok laptop depending on the brand. A good example is Apple. The MacBook is typically more expensive than the iMac.
