Doctors will occasionally be wrong when diagnosing a disease. There are several factors that contribute to doctors misdiagnosing conditions.
* Rarer, less well-known conditions and diseases might not initially occur to a doctor. * If the patient has atypical symptoms, the doctor will have more difficulty diagnosing the problem. * If the patient does not tell the doctor all the symptoms, that could make it more difficult to diagnose. * If the patient has several chronic conditions, it can be harder to diagnose a new one because of trying to determine what symptoms are attributable to the new problem. * As other people do, doctors make assumptions that are incorrect, or don't pay enough attention when overworked or rushed, or have other issues that are causing them stress.
Absolutely Not! If anything, doctors are usually wrong. They just play guessing games, and throw medications of all types at you. Psychiatrists especially, are always wrong. They are completely judgemental, meaning they think a person should be a certain way, act a certain way. They do not allow a person to have their own, unique personality. Psychiatrists are name-callers, labeling others as 'bipolar' or having 'attention deficit disorder' or any of a number of different, ugly and judgemental terms. In summary, doctors are only right when they happen to hit upon the correct answer, just a fluke. And doctors never to be trusted, believed, or even to be befriended are called psychiatrists.
No, doctors, dentists, surgeons, etc. and nurses are not always right. That's why patients get second opinions before deciding about very serious procedures or surgery. Medical professionals are human. They don't know everything and do make mistakes.
no!! people say they cause harmful disease to girls and cause them not to have kids but this isall wrong i have had cats in my house for like ever they dont cause ay think bad and i asked lots of doctors about that
Yes , Carl Lewis was diagnose with thyroid disease but he didn't let that hold him back. Carl kept long jumping and, he kept winning medal all type.
if you have ever seen the tv show house that is what he is... they diagnose people when other doctors can not find out what is wrong with them. However, the "department of diagnostic medicine" is fictional. In one episode of house, Cuddy explains to foreman that the only reason they have a diagnostic medicine department is because of Dr. House (the guy is a medical genius)
It really depends, if scientist create one, and it goes horribly wrong, or if a disease breaks out.
NOOO that is bad if a docter did cause its like him telling the patient to smoke marawana which is wrong
Of course doctors and nurses give wrong answers and do wrong actions, at the wrong time, in the wrong order and even do completely wrong procedures (wrong site, wrong side, wrong person, etc.). These wrongs are why medical professionals have malpractice insurance, in case the wrong done was severe or caused harm. Most good doctors and nurses will admit "I don't know the answer" -- which is perfectly okay because no one knows everything. They can/should then go find the answer, or refer you to someone who does know (example: a specialist).NOTE: Not all wrongs or wrong answers are serious enough to warrant a lawsuit, especially if it did not cause damage/harm to the patient. "It could / might have harmed me" is not enough for a lawsuit.
No, not ever.
Not what so ever. Some doctors say that it's "too expensive" to make the machine, much less have some individuals and families avoid to even take the actual test itself.
Let me guess -- the doctors have no idea what you have. :) There's a very good chance you have Celiac disease. Look it up. They're finding out it's much more common than it was ever believed (a recent study showed 1 in 113 people have it). The symptoms are very broad, which makes it hard to diagnose. I recently finally figured out that I had it. See this article, and especially read the comments: http://www.scientificamerican.com/article.cfm?id=celiac-disease-insights
Psychiatry does not cause mental disorders. They diagnose and treat disorders but do not cause them.
No, she did not.
