NEVER trust a dog with a hamster or any rodent. Dogs are naturally hunters, and sadly will try to kill and devour small pets. If you want your hamster to meet the dog, have the dog on a leash and the hamster in a run about type of ball or cage so the dog can see the new friend. Very closely supervise and NEVER trust your dog with the hamster no matter how docile either one is.
Sanitize the cage and get new bedding and the cage is good as new!
With any type of hamster just like dogs can be mixed with different types of dogs
Get a new hamster. Say good bye to the lost little fellow.
Either get rid of the hamster or put it in another room. You don't say what kind of dog it is, but it's probably the dogs natural reaction to want to kill the hamster.
Yes. If you find the right place. There are hamster balls for people so there must be some for dogs or you can just put them into peoples hamster balls then it should work.
When you buy your first hamster you should buy a cage, food, chew toys, Exercise Wheels & Exercise Balls Good Luck with your new Hamster !!!
if you just got a new hamster leave it alone for about a week, then you can start to put your hand in the cage and let him smell you. slowly you can put treats in your hand and if it trusts you it will crawl on to your hand and take it...even if your hamster is not new this is a good way for your hamster to trust you, and become friendly
bunnies are good pets big dogs like labs are good but little dogs are better because they do not push you on the leash but some little dogs can be mean. guinea pigs are pretty good but sometimes they can be boring but when you put them in a hamster ball they are fun and exiting
get rid of the dog and name you hamster the dogs name so you wont miss the dog
