This question is slightly confusing. What exactly does it mean? Though I will try and answer.
This is more of a viewpoint sort of thing. A question that can be put up for debate. Some people think that we should just let the animals be. Life is life, if they go extinct it doesn't matter. Others think that we should protect animals endanger of becoming extinct.
Standing at a logical point of view. It depends on the animal. If the animal it necessary for the environment then no it should not need to go extinct. If the animal is not necessary then let nature take it's course.

∙ 10y agoAnimals will certainly still exist for hundreds of millions of years, regardless of human activity, unless the Earth is obliterated by an object large enough to melt the whole surface (which is a extremely unlikely). However, in the next hundred years, countless animal species will go extinct, most due to human activity. Human activity that causes animal extinctions includes habitat destruction and fragmentation, hunting and overfishing, pollution, and climate change due to burning of fossil fuels.

∙ 11y agoNo. Dogs are very loved and well treated animals. Their owners are very loving. In some cases, owners or other "top dogs" can be abusive but these cases are ending constantly as the nation try's to end animal abuse and killings at the pound. You can donate money to try and help stop the abuse if you are very concerned.
