It is possible, if you are not being forced to take the drugs and are in full consent of taking the drugs.
I belive it is unfair to decide which one is worse. drugs detroys lives more quickly and more 'noticeably' obviously depending on what drug. (except weed tho. i assumed u were talking about coke or something?) But self harm is imediate damage to your body and physically worse. marking your body, self harm is more depressive as you are actually physcially making yourself bleed etc. But with drugs u could be doing drugs at a party having fun and accidentally get hooked. But if your using drugs or self harm to escape on going problems they are equally bad. But in the end when it cames down to it it's a mental thing.

Self-harm is a harmful coping mechanism that some individuals may turn to in times of distress. However, self-harm does not produce a "high" in the same way that drugs or other substances might. Instead, people may self-harm to numb emotional pain or to gain a sense of control in their lives. It's important for individuals who engage in self-harm to seek help from a mental health professional to address the underlying issues and find healthier coping strategies.
