Dual and more cores allow the computer to basically do more then one thing at once. This will increase the speed in which it can accomplish tasks. SO if you are looking for a faster computer dual or greater cores are a good thing.
Dual core servers are manufactured by various companies. One of the better known is Rockwell industries out of Massachusetts or BNG industries out of Minnesota.
Dual cores are much better than the normal ones. Dual cores servers act as an emergency memory saver. If your first processor fails there always the second one to back it up.
