It depends on which region, but for traditional American Christmas feasts there are usually a large main course of ham, turkey, or tofurkey (for vegetarians). Then sides of things such as green beans, mashed potatoes, yams, rolls, beets, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin or apple pie. Traditional Christmas drinks are apple cider, eggnog, and hot chocolate.
Usually, it is eggnog. A lot of people also drink hot apple cider and hot chocolate.
They do not have a specific Christmas drink like Eggnog or Mulled wine if that's what you mean, apart from that they are like the rest of the world although they are more partial to red wine than most.

Most Germans who drink socially will drink wine and beer, very rarely will they drink spirits (too expensive) except for schnapps!

I'm British and neither I nor anyone I know does anything with apple trees at Christmas. The apples have been eaten and its leaves have fallen long before Christmas.
