Whether or not an egg is living or non-living depends on whether or not the egg is fertilized. If the egg is NOT fertilized then the egg is non-living. However, if the egg has been fertilized then the egg is living since the fetus inside is alive.
Do you believe the egg came first or the chicken? This question is very similar to the one you are asking... Either way you see this, the egg has to be living.. Just when a baby is just a fetus inside the mothers womb, there is a chick inside the egg which will eventually form and become a living organism in the world.. If you believe that it is nonliving you can also be correct, as whilst the chick is inside the egg it has not yet formed, and become a living organism as of such. Just as above, it take a period of time before the baby in the incubus also becomes living, so does the chick inside the egg. Hopefully this answers your question.
Answer
A egg is nonliving because it doesn't grow, reproduce and eliminate waste.
Eggs are not alive because they dont have any animals in them
yes because they grow inside the egg then become a chicken
My grade 8 teacher asked me if an egg's cell living or non living please answer
If there was a rooster that fertilized it, then yes it is. If there was no rooster, than it is nonliving.
Living
They are considered living organisms. But what about the skin cells which are non-living cells. They are replaced by new cells every day. Another similar aspect of a cell being non-living to this respective question is that the cork discovered by Robert hook cointained ceels then only he was able to define the term cell cork is non-living cell.
an egg is an egg... meaning an egg is basically a sex cell, made of all the cell organelles and since only non living things can be made of molecules (which makes up atoms) it cant be made of molecules so when you eat an omelet you are eating the reproductive organ of whatever bird it came from
The cell wall
crystals and hormones
if a bird laying an egg without mating then it does not have the power to reproduce so it is a non living thing if a bird laying an egg after mating then it will reproduce so it is a living thing:)
If it remains unfertilised it is non living. However at the start of its existence it holds the potential to become part of a living thing.

Non living
Robert Hooke observed the first non-living cell.
no. lots of people feel its wrong to eat a chicken egg thinking that it may be a baby chick. a chicken egg you buy at a shop is a non-fertilised egg and therefore is non-living. in some parts of the world they sell fertilised eggs where people boil the alive chick inside the egg to kill it and then eat it. they are eating unborn chickens but it doesnt happen in England super-mrket eggs.
Living

There is no way to say that any part of a cell is living or non-living. Of course, each different type of cell have different parts, but mostly include a cell wall, nucleus and cell membrane.
The egg came first. The first egg containing a genetic mutation that resulted in a chicken hatched from a non-chicken ancestor. This genetic mutation led to the birth of the first chicken, making the egg the predecessor to the chicken.
