I'm not sure how specific you are talking. Well, anyways, electronics can worsen your eyesight, and generations coming are becoming too dependent on electronics -such as spellcheck. People don't make the effort to learn now, because there's an easier way out by using electronic devices to do the thinking for them. Hope this helps.

It will depend on what has gone bad. If it is just be a loose flexible PCB /cable connection between the screen and the main board or the screen it self may have gone bad.
