Well. Some are and some arent. Most have origins from yemen dating back to around 2 to 3 thousand years ago. Its a diverse country like Algeria or morroco for example which have a "black" population and also, in the case of ethiopians a population that has origins from Yemen or Arabia.

Really its up to you to define them though. If you think as some ethiopians as separate just call them ethiopian not black or not. Its like using Indian for an Indian.

Another comment Just because some have dark skin doesnt necessarily mean they are black.. Its more about facial features.

For example. Both China and France are on the Asian continent (France is in the European subcontinent of Asia).

Both a Chinese person and a french person have "white" or de pigmented skin color but they are not considered the same race because of facial features.

In the same way, an Indian, a Nigerian, and an ethiopian all have dark skin but its facial features that set them apart.

Note Im not a racist in any way, Im just trying to explain in as good of a way as possible.

Ethiopians are like Flower. The reason I said that is because, there was no the so-called "AFRICA". This name had been existed during at the BIRLIN CONFERENCE, the mixture of the colonialist and imperialist nations (twelve of Europe, Great Britain and the United States of America) in 1885 C.E. Therefore, up to that time, Africa was used to be call Ethiopia and the people are also called ETHIOPIANS. Even to the existent, the Indians were/are Ethiopians. Ethiopians are also the mother of all humanity. Ethiopians are BLACK and any other human colors are the product of Blacks.
