Yes it is
Science and The Bible don't have the same viewpoints on life. Science deals with what can be explained and the Bible deals with faith. There will be other viewpoints to follow this as we do not agree.
Nathan Aviezer has written: 'Fossils and Faith' 'In the beginning--' -- subject(s): Bible, Bible and science, Creation, Criticism, interpretation
The main conflict between science and religion is that science requires solid evidence of the Biblical events while religion is based upon faith in knowing that because the Bible is the word of God it is true and the events took place because the Bible says they did. Science does not simply accept the fact that because God said it in the Bible it is true. They would have to see it to believe it and not act upon faith.
"you just got to believe!" You could always say that God and Jesus aren't science. Since God and Jesus have supernatural powers, and since science doesn't support supernatural powers or religion and faith, people would always say The Bible isn't scientifically accurate - The Bible is just a recording what Jesus taught us, but The Bible is accurate with faith and religion. The Bible isn't scientifically accurate only because science is the practice of fact and leaves out all traces of faith and religion, so this whole statement is a response to someone who says that The Bible isn't scientifically accurate.
Science had faith in God.
Rational thinking.
The two are not mutually exclusive. It is not as if one is true and the other is false. True interpretations of scripture support science, and in cases not exclusively faith based science supports scripture.
One person in the Bible of faith is Matthew.
faith you believe things always believe science is truth and experiments chose faith over science!
Some believe that the Bible is the word of God because it was literally told to the authors by God himself, and therefore is infallible. Others believe that the Bible was inspired by God and, although it can contain errors of history and science, it is infallible on matters of faith. There is no evidence of either. The Bible contains many errors of history and science, and is therefore not infallible. It contains many contradictions and inconsistencies on theology, and is therefore not even infallible on matters of faith.
"have faith" appears 3 times in the KJV Bible, and the word "faith" appears 333 times in the KJV Bible.
