Are fire belly toads smart enough to know they have an owner?
Well, according to recent studies, fire belly toads can eat lizards. They are large enough to digest them.
fire belly toads live in south America some where in the deserts
Nope. You probably dont want to touch it because of its toxins and the possibility of killing it with any salts, oils, etc. you may have on your hands. Source: Proud owner of a fire belly frog :-) ;-)

Yes, fire belly toads and newts can live together as long as you have adequate space for both species. You will also need foliage for the newts to hide in and climb on.
It matters how you define smart. They get there food do they not? They find themselves shelter. They also have quite a personallity, coming frome someone who has had many toads as pets. They have fear just as humans do. As a toad owner i happen to know how to tell the diferennce between feamale and male toads and have found they do not get along. But also two toads of the same gender may… Read More
You should not handle fire belly toads or any other kind of frog, toad, or newt. The oils in your skin can harm the animal. Some toads, frogs, and newts have poison that they will release when they feel threatened. Fire belly toads, and most toads have this poison. It is okay to handle them if you must. Do not handle them alot or for fun. If you must pick them up, make sure your… Read More
they eat oranges and mangos
yes, they do sleep... at night, obviously.
A Firebelied Toad.
I wouldn't. Its not safe... If they're toads you want to mix with the fire belly then make sure they are the same size..keep in mind that if they are different sizes..they can get REALLY mad because either toad would be on the others "property" and if that happens they will kill each other. I wouldn't get into the fire belly toad/frog issue..just DONT mix them. Hope I helped! :)
If you mean croak as died there could be many reasons. One, they could have eaten something poisonous. Two, it could have dehydrated or not eaten enough. Three, it could have come into contact with a chemical such as bleach. There are many more reasons. If you mean croak as in the sound they make, fire-belly toads usually croak when looking for a mate, warning another frog of a predator, or warning the predator it… Read More

If the toads are small enough they certainly will eat them and the tadpoles too. If the toads are toxic as is the case with cane toads the goldfish/koi will be poisoned and may well die.
Because they will eat anything that moves and is small enough to fit in their mouths.
They live about 10-12 years.Have fun with the little guys.
American toads get to be fairly large. I currently have a toad and it is around the size of a soda can. Toads make a great pet. If you are willing to spend 25 dollars on your toad. Your toad will be very happy with its new habitat. I personally caught my toad in my backyard. You can either do what I did or purchase one at pet smart or your local petstore. I recommend… Read More
No, not usually. Fire belly Toads and Newts are put together all the time, and seem to enjoy each other's company. If they do start to fight, separate them right away.
They are brown or green on their backs, and red and orange on their undersides. They shouldn't be grey at all.
Frogs do not get pregnant. They lay eggs that hatch into tadpoles then grow into frogs.
$5.49 but prices may have changed ...hope this helped c:
Fowler's toad won't have spots on the belly. American toads will.
