a goldfish will jus gobble it all up goldfishes are always hungry
it is to get the food before it all gets eaten and also survive on its own without getting eaten by other animals
Goldfish and bettas (fighting fish) are freshwater fish, so they are not part of the ocean's food chain at all. In a freshwater environment, they are relatively low on the food chain.
Bread crumbs are not good for goldfish and too much will eventually kill them. A fortune has been spent by researchers and pet food manufacturers in doing research into goldfish diets and developing good wholesome nourishment for all sorts/species of fish. Why not make use of all that knowledge and buy proper goldfish food?
Crayfish, crawchie, crawdad or yabby they are all the same thing. They will be better off on Cichlid pellets than Goldfish food. They are mainly carnivors.
If your goldfish is not very active and lives in a small bowl or something similair it doesn't need much food at all, You could feed it 2-3 pellets or a small pinch of flakes per day. If your goldfish is in a tank at least 10 Gallons(40 liters) than you can feed it twice a day for about two minutes. Feed it slow enough that it gets the food without it sinking to the bottom.
If your goldfish is female and full of eggs, she may release them in the tank. If there is no male in the tank with her, she may very well simply reabsorb the eggs without ever releasing them at all.
Probably, but usually the comet goldfish will get all the food and/or the other goldfish will become miserable. This has happened to me before and I do not recommend putting them in the same tanks. Try putting the fancy and comet godlfish seperate!
Goldfish are omnivores, and they can eat lots of vegetables (but don't try feeding them any fruits...I never tried....but wouldn't it be weird to feed goldfish a mango or a peach?). Fish food is all protein, usually, and eating only fish food usually helps constipation happen to your poor goldfish. Imagine humans eating only meat! So I always feed my goldfish pieces of lettuce and the insides of cooked frozen peas. They make my fish healthier. Though I have never tried, some goldfish owners feed their goldfish live food, like those tiny shrimps. It is healthier for your goldfish to eat a wide variety of good, not only fish food.
maby chicken or beef but they do like choclate
Well, considering that goldfish do not breathe air, they can live without it for as long as their normal lifespan might happen to be. Some goldfish only life for up to about a year and a half, while others can life for as long as 25 years or more. All without taking a single breath of air.
Yes, all the flaked food is the same except goldfish flakes.
A good rule of thumb is to only feed as much as the size of the goldfish's eye. If you overfeed them, they will eat it all and get poorly. Too much food will get the water all dirty. A good idea is the floating feed ring, which will keep all the food in one place so the goldfish know exactly where to find the food.
