No. They are gentle and loving animals.
Note: Some Danes may be aggressive because of the way their owners treat them. Usually abused and ill-treated dogs do not fall under the general description of behavior for other dogs of the same breed.
YES!! My cousin had a 2 yr old male great dane that she treated like one of her own kids. She gave it plenty of love and attention. Last year, she told him to go outside, when it didn't she took his collar to lead him out and he attached her. If her husband hadn't been home she has no doubt the dane would have killed her. The dog knocked her to the floor and was trying to reach her neck. She blocked it with her arm and was mauled pretty badly before her husband was able to pull it off. We have no idea why her dane did this, but the dane was put down.
No, Danes are big but silly and playful with people.
The 2 violent men attack the police officer first, but the officer grabs a taser and stuns them. Then, the officer handcuffs the 2 violent men. If the two violent men attacked the officer in different directions, the officer would get confused a little, and increase their chances of winning. He would grab his taser and stun them again if the 2 violent men try to attack them. The 2 vicious great danes against 3 German shepherds would have an equal chance of winning. A German shepherd is fiercer than a great dane, but the great dane is bigger and taller. If the violent men attacked the 3 German shepherds, they would lose no matter what. The police officer attacks the two great danes, and stuns them with the taser, and shoot them with his pistol. If the great danes attacked the officer first, the officer would still win, but get injured on the legs if he was not fast enough to use his taser or his pistol.
the dog itself is a Great Dane. Plural (more than one) it is Great Danes.
no because, the great danes are much bigger than the poodles
Yes, both my male and female great danes catch and fetch frisbees.
Great Danes are not natuarlly viscous dogs. They can be trained for many jobs, including guarding.
Great Danes are believed to be originated in Germany by the Alans from Mastiff's and probably wolf hounds.
Great danes like all dogs do have backbones.
