Horseshoe crabs are not extinct nor are they on the Endangered Spedies List. However, their population has been severely depleted, especially near Japan. Loss af nesting sites and over-harvesting are problems that are starting to be recognized.

Humans are destroying the horseshoe crabs habitat. We cut things down (trees for example) for our own selfish needs (no offense). After that we build things witch kills animals including the horseshoe crabs.
