Hypotonic solutions can be found in both animal and plant cells. In a hypotonic solution, the concentration of solutes outside the cell is lower than inside the cell, causing water to move into the cell. This can lead to swelling and potentially bursting of the cell if not regulated properly by the cell.
The following are found in plant cells and NOT in animal cells: -plasmodesmata -chloroplasts -large central vacuoles -cell wall -tonoplast The following are found in animal cells and NOT in plant cells: -lysosomes -centrioles -flagella (although some are found in plant sperm)
Lysosomes are found in animal cells but not plant cells.
ribosomes are found in animal cellsThey are in every type of cells. They are needed to synthesis pf proteins
A centriole is a barrel-shaped organelle found in most animal eukaryotic cells.
The cell structure found in plant and bacterial cells but not animal cells is the cell wall. This rigid structure provides support and protection to the cell, maintaining its shape and preventing it from bursting in a hypotonic environment.
yes they are found in animal cells, but not plant cells.
When placed in an hypotonic solution (distilled water) an animal cell will engore itself with the water to the point of brakage. This is because the cell itself is an isotonic (aka: has balances mineral content) and the "mineraless" water will become attracted to the stable solution inside the cell. A diagram can be found somewhere, I suggest looking up cells and hypotonic soutions in Biology.
It is found in both Animal and Plant cells.
