There are many sports drinks out there. Some are higher in calories and sugar than others. Gatorade is a very popular sports drink as well as Powerade. Powerade offers a 'zero' calorie sports drink too.
Almost as the same as a gatorade, a sports drink but with a little more calories.
active adults and children who play sport :)
Powerade was first introduced in 1988 by Coca-Cola to compete with Gatorade in sports drink sales. In July of 2002, it became the official sports drink of the Olympics. Though it is not known exactly where it was invented, it is likely to have been somewhere in the United States.
The drink is done in a few ways. One way is a POWERADE® with lemonade and cranberry. A Sprite® with POWERADE®, lemonade and cranberry. And the favorite, A Sprite® with POWERADE®,cranberry and vanilla.
Lucozade and Powerade have sugar in, not alot. It is better to have water if you are just excising for 20mins or so. But if you are training for longer periods it is better to use sports drinks.
glucose, caffiene & phenylamine
Powerade is a sports drink that refreshes you. How to make it? Hmm, hard one! Nobody except for the company knows.... Why don't you ask them or somthing? It has a lot of sugar and sport minerals. I hope it helped! Ali xoxo
you buy a powerade drink
It depends on your purpose and needs. Water is a great basic beverage. POWERade is a sports drink. The calories and electrolytes in POWERade are intended to replenish those lost in sweat when exercising. If you are active and need to replenish electrolytes and energy then POWERade is appropriate and a more complete form of hydration than your average water.
Powerade does not cause gout because of the carbohydrates included in the drink. Powerade only causes cancer and lepracy because of the overdosing on the drink.
