hell yeah anythings better than factory
Kicker,JL Audio, Pioneer
Front speakers are 4.5", rear package tray speakers measure 7" (good luck finding direct replacements)
Replacement audio speakers for a car can be bought at numerous locations. Good places to purchase them include car audio shops and car dealerships. Replacement speakers can also be purchased direct from manufacturers such as JVC, Pioneer, and Kicker.
what about me?
Me good are Pyle speakers! Me good are Pyle speakers!
Maybe with a hammer! You can get T-100 replacements tails on eBay that as good a factory for a fraction of the price, I did for my 94.
You will either need factory Infinity replacements since the speakers have their own attached amps. Or....replace the entire system with an aftermarket setup. You can go to Crutchfield.com to find out what size speakers will fit your car. Another option (this is what I myself did) for the fronts I used 6 1/2s and zip-tied the amps to them. This works for me but it is more trouble than its worth and doesn't sound very good. Note: not all 6 1/2 will work (in fact I believe most wont.)
Walmart.com and others sell a speaker spacer that should work.
5X7's fit in the front and rear panels. If you want something good and something that will last you want to get a good brand. I recommend staying away from the name brand stores like; Walmart, Best Buy, and Circuit City. You need to find a small local car audio store that only specializes in car audio. My persanal best is MBQuart but if you want good speakers you will have to get an amplifier to to drive them. If you don't want to spend a lot and maybe your speakers are just blown? Go to a junk yard and get another factory pair of speakers. Ford desgned that car to only handle ford speakers and with bypassing the factory amplifier new speakers just won't sound that great. I went to the junkyard to find speakers for my 95 t-bird and I found a rolled new explorer and the factory speakers were stilll in them so I took those and hooked them in my car. It was temporary until I built up my system professionally.
no not with major, mod's get a good 4x6, maybe a 5x7 or 6x8 might work, kicker makes all these sizes.
The speakers are not "good" An old guy like me that has a Spectra (Really) and had the stock sterreo die will find the stock speakers are OK, Needs a sub though, Will add one when I have the spare cash. If you are under 45 I bet you will not be happy with the stock speakers. But I urge you to try them, If they are good enough I am sure the money could go into a good sub. ; )
yes, kicker is a good brnad and can have so much base that if you have it in a car and you have it hooked up good then you might wanna buy some plexi glass.
