Overall, I would love to say no. However, puppies are not trained. They also have very sharp milk teeth. I have had large puppies scratch me with their teeth hard enough to draw blood when they were only playing. As sweet as they usually are, it would not be a good decision to leave them unattended with anyone/anything that would not be capable of keeping the puppy off of them. This would include small animals or children. This is true of any breed, not just labs.
